It’s so funny: I just recently switched over to almost all fake plants at my house while my sister-in-law just launched Operation Jungle in her own house. We even traded a few specimens: her fake plants for my real ones. The thing is, I just don’t have time right now to take proper care of the number of plants that I want to surround myself with. My sister-in-law, a former plant slayer, wants to try her hand at creating an indoor plant oasis. Either way, it’s really nice to surround yourself with greenery. Plants, real or fake, add something intangible to a room that no other accessory can offer. A plant adds color, texture, and warmth to a space, and, paired with the right pot, can be the finishing touch that really elevates a room into the design stratosphere. I’d even go so far as to say that I don’t feel like any room can feel truly complete without a plant of some sort living inside of it. Since I’m feeling the faux these days, I’ve played match-maker for my favorite fake greens and their dream homes (aka plant pots).
