DIY Scary Cute Halloween Garland (As Seen on Pop Sugar)

Read the original post on Popsugar.

That’s right people! This garland is so cute, it’s seriously SCARY! But DIY-ing it isn’t. No drills, hot glue guns, or other dangerous weapons of craft necessary here.

 All you’ll need are some:

Orange string lights
-Old Halloween Costumes (or Halloween-inspired fabric)
-Scissors

Step 1:

Take your fabric (or old Halloween costumes) and cut 1-inch strips. Depending on the length of the string lights, you’ll need about 150 – 200 strips of fabric.

Step 2:

Take the strips and tie them around the lights. (P.S. Glitter nail polish is always a festive addition to any project undertaking.)

Step 3:

Continue to cut and tie fabric strips around the lights so that the knots are close together. (Pro Tip: rotate the lights as you tie your knots so that it gives your garland a nice variety of texture.)

Step 4

Plug in the lights & enjoy with a side of mulled cider. So good!
