Frosé for Days

I know Rosé is all the rage this summer, but I have a hard time drinking wine when it’s really hot outside, even if it’s chilled wine. Even if it’s pink. So, being the resourceful, DIY-type person I am, I came up with the perfect solution: FROS. So, it’s Rosé, in keeping with the Top 2019 Coolest Summer Beverage Trends, but with a little something extra. And that something extra is: blended ice, and frozen fruit. Anything to up the coolness quotient, but, like, temperature wise. Here’s the recipe I’ve developed over the course of the summer. A lot of research has gone into this. (Measurements are completely approximate.)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Bottle of Rosé Wine
  • ⅓ Bag Organic, Chopped, Frozen Mango
  • Fresh Mint Leaves
  • ¼ Cup Frozen Organic Limeade Concentrate
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

(I use a Vitamix blender, which seems to be imperative to accomplishing the perfect slushed-ice consistency.)

  • Add mango, limeade, and mint to the blender
  • Add the bottle of wine
  • Fill the remainder of the blender (to the max line) with ice.
  • Blend
  • Pour
  • Carry to pleasant seating area outside
  • Drink
  • Be happy

    Hi Jasmine,
I would love to know what the paint color was that you used to define the dining room in season 2 episode 16. I love that color! I love your show and watch it every week. You are amazing!!!
