My Rock the Block Kitchen: Steal the Look
After all this time, I still gotta say that the kitchen I did for HGTV’s Season 1 of Rock the Block is still probably one of my favorite kitchens I’ve EVER done. Ever! That’s really sayin’ something, guys. And you all seem to love my Rock the Block kitchen too – it’s one of my projects that gets the most love on Instagram and Pinterest. A lot of the appeal is the amazing paint color “Night Owl” by Sherwin-Williams that I used on the cabinets, and let’s not forget those handcrafted backsplash tiles and the floating shelves. Basically, if you want to recreate this kitchen from faucet to floors to appliances and beyond, I wrote every single detail here. But if you’re like, “Hey, Jas, I love this kitchen but I can’t rip out my own kitchen to recreate this, I can just make some easy decor switches,” then I GOT YOU COVERED today!
If you want that similar look without doing any demo, here are some things to keep in mind: I used an earthy color palette with lots of organic materials. So go for those pops of wood and plants! Always plants. Bonus points if you can add an inexpensive floating shelf or two!

Hi Jasmine, my husband and I love your show! On the last episode of help, I wrecked my house, the homeowners needed to have her attic cleaned due to rats. Can you please tell me the name of the company that you used for that service? We are in mission Viejo and need someone we can trust. Our neighbor had a very bad experience with the company that they used. Thank you so much! Carol and Tom Sullivan
