Registry Round Up: Which Baby Shoes Did I Pick For My Registry?

Is there anything cuter than a pair of newborn baby shoes? I think not. Maybe it’s the fact that they are completely useless (babies can’t walk!) and therefor utterly ridiculous and silly; maybe it’s the fact that they look like they’re straight out of the “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” movie; maybe I just have a thing for cute shoes, big or small. Whatever the reason, I’ve always had small obsession with mini footwear and now that I’m actually pregnant with my very own baby, it is ON.

I’ve divided the all of shoes I’m eying into three categories: Rainbow Bright, Neutral Territory, and Shine On. I feel like selecting one shoe from each category would be well within registry reason. Here are the finalists by category, listed in no particular order.

Rainbow Bright:

Neutral Territory:

Shine On:

And here are my final choices, one from each category:

P.S. I’d also like to add these additional two items for your consideration. They don’t necessarily fit into any of the above categories, and to add another, fourth category seems indulgent, but they are too cute to ignore for the sake of categorical organization.

Sooo cute! Of course, you know one of each pair will be left behind in a parking lot or store. But the person who finds it will be thinking, “this mom has great taste!” LOL

A little unsolicited advice (because I cried when my baby outgrew her baby chucks)- Get a bigger size. The tiniest are adorable and obviously they aren’t for practical use, but they grow out in a couple of months. Get 9-12 months! Even if they aren’t walking, super cute and the kid will be in them longer 😉
