Jasmine Roth Style Guide: Brunch
March 18 2024It finally feels like spring is in the air! I love this time of year for so many reasons, but I’m especially excited about hosting spring brunches at home. Once the weather warms up, it’s the perfect opportunity to set the table, inside or outside, and have friends and family over for a meal. Brett and I both love to cook, and we find having people over really helps build our happy.
Read on for my ultimate spring brunch style guide.
Before the Brunch
First things first, I love having fresh flowers in the home when I’m having people over. Nothing too fancy, most of the time I pick up a couple bouquets from Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods and style them in our Lana Vase. I always make sure to have a fresh candle out to set the mood. My go-to right now is our Frosted Eucalyptus & Pine Candle, which is the perfect vibe for transitioning into the new season.
In an effort to be less stressed and more present when guests are over, I like to prep as much as possible beforehand. Some kitchen staples while cooking include our Calloway Pouring Bowls, Jace Colander and Postre Measuring Spoons.
Brunch Essentials
1. Glassware
Whether you’re planning to sip champagne or a refreshing lemonade at brunch, cute glassware is necessary! Welcome your guests with a drink, and have water glasses available to everyone at your brunch. Prevent spills in style with our best-selling Shoreside Bottle Holder that looks good on any table.
2. Napkins
Add a thoughtful touch to elevate your table setting with linen and cotton napkins. Our shop is full of gorgeous colors and patterns for the spring season. I’ve been absolutely loving our Holtzer Napkin Rings for added dimension.
3. Serveware
Last but not least, our spring serveware pieces are a staple for your next brunch. Between our chic white Mariana collection to our forest green plates and bowls, everything is stylish, practical, and durable (meaning you can use them for years to come). Paired with your napkin choice from above, your table setting will look elegant and sophisticated.
The options are endless for hosting a spring brunch. Our Jenelle Slotted Tongsare the perfect way to serve a large salad or mix a delicious pasta salad, while our Mooncrest Bowls are an ideal way to present and serve appetizers like delicious charcuterie. Oh, and I can’t forget about the cutest Newbury Salt and Pepper Shakers! Let’s not forget about clean up, wash everything with our eco-friendly Lemon and Myrtle Mandarin Dish Soap.
Best of all, I love hosting brunch because I can be creative! I can test out new recipes in the kitchen, wear the new floral dress hanging in my closet, and set the table as I please. Whether it’s with family for Easter or with friends just because, spring brunches are a great way to welcome in the new season and spend time with those you love.
