Help! I Wrecked My House, Season 4, Episode 3: Modern Glam

Help! I Wrecked My House, Season 4, Episode 3: Modern Glam

Project Overview:

THE HOMEOWNER:

Alicia and Martin

THE BUDGET:

$100K

THE STORY:

Martin and Alicia have lived in their home for more than 20 years; they raised their two daughters here and it was time to finally make this house their own. Everything was pretty outdated, the home needed a complete refresh so the couple could enjoy their retirement here as empty nesters. Martin and Alicia had begun working on some projects here and there, but none of them had been finished or done correctly. I was ready to step in and get to work!

THE PLAN:

My plan was to turn this house into their forever home. I wanted each space to feel very intentional. With a design style described as modern and clean, the entryway, kitchen, primary bedroom, and bathroom were about to get a total makeover. Martin joined in on the demolition part of the project, which was so fun to have him involved. This home hosted many family celebrations each year, so the kitchen and dining area had to especially feel more open and purposeful.

The Inspiration:

Design Style: Modern Glam

With a modern glam design style, this home would be timeless, clean, and bright.
