Jarrod and Joanne bought this home in Utah with plans to fix it up, but pretty quickly they realized they were in way over their heads. What started as a “simple renovation” turned into a lot more layers than anyone expected. This 1960s home had great bones, but it was stuck in time and needed some serious updating to work for their large family. With just seven weeks before their kids started school, there wasn’t a minute to spare. I was ready to roll up my sleeves and turn this dated space into a mountain-inspired mid-century modern home that Jarrod and Joanne could finally call their forever home.
